MEALS ON WHEELS DELIVERS

For over thirty years Meals on Wheels of Greater Hyde Park has been providing meals to our community's seniors and homebound residents. During that time, many of our Church's members have volunteered as drivers, board members, and as board president.

HPUMC has not only been generous with its members' time, it has been generous with its facility, allowing MOW to operate in the church kitchen, and it has been generous with many monetary donations. All of these "gifts", along with others from the Hyde Park Community, have allowed MOW to deliver 12,500 hot meals and 7,743 cold meals during 2007.

MOW started 2008 with an increased clientele and a new cook, Adam Royster...and is excited about both! Despite Adam's young age he comes to MOW with restaurant experience as the sous chef at Twist in Hyde Park and as a pastry chef at Double-O in Rhinebeck. He continues to work at both these restaurants and MOW. Meals On Wheels looks forward to a new year, a new cook and a continued relationship with HPUMC!
